ingredients
2 1/2 tsp dried yeast
250ml milk
60gm unsalted butter (melted)
30gm melted butter for glaze
2tbsp sugar
2eggs beaten
560gm strong flour
2tsp salt (i normally add a pinch saja)
sprinkle yeast to 100ml of milk. leave for 5 minutes
warm the remaining milk, with butter and sugar
cool, until it is touchable, (suam-suam kuku ya) then beat in the eggs
mix flour and salt in a large bowl (mixing bowl pun blh)
make a well in the centre and pour the liquid mixture
mix the flour till form a soft sticky dough
turn the though out on to a floured work surface. knead till smooth. if the dough is too sticky add a tablespoon of flour.
put the dhough in a buttered bowl, leave it to rest till it is double the size
divide the dough to ur suka2 size and shpe, susun on the pan/tray/cup, prove again till double juga. brush the top with melted butter, bake in a preheated oven till golden brown, and theres a hollow sound.
sila lah cuba. it will need some efforts, and practice for u to get a great buns or bread..
